After the pandemic, the program returns with actions at municipal schools near Monte Alegre Airport

Paraná, June 29, 2023 – The Decolar Program, which is carried out by Klabin in partnership with the Municipal Education Department of Telêmaco Borba (PR), is holding new meetings to spread a culture of safety in districts situated near Monte Alegre Airport. Created in 2013, the program is assisting the following schools:
 
Castelo Branco Municipal School – Area 03
Gonçalves Lêdo Municipal School – Area 07
São Silvestre Municipal School – São Silvestre
Paulo Freire Municipal School – Area 06
Profª Juventina B. da Silva Municipal School – São João
 
The Decolar programs organizes visits by Klabin representatives to students aged 7 to 10 in the 2nd to 5th grades of public elementary schools. The visits include activities to raise awareness on proper and safe behaviors in areas near the airport. Students also are trained and encouraged to be multipliers of this information for their families, neighbors and acquaintances. To date, more than 7,500 students already have completed the program.
 
“By promoting the practice of the guidelines in the Sustainability Policy and prioritizing the development of the program’s stakeholders, we hope these safety actions raise awareness among participants and help them to incorporate active precautions in their routine,” said Maria de Lourdes, Facilities corporate manager at Klabin.
