Packaged in KlaCup Natural Kraft®, product is available in pet shop chains across Brazil
 

São Paulo, July 17, 2023 – Imagine a paper vase where grass grows from popcorn, which can be consumed by your pet and, better still, is rich in fibers, nutrients and mineral salts. The innovation, available in various pet shop chains across Brazil, was created by Márcio Alexandre, an agricultural engineer also known as “Dr. Plant.” Klabin’s KlaCup Natural Kraft® paperboard was chosen to package the product, which adds sustainability to the product, once again reinforcing its versatility and efficiency.

For this initiative, Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of paper for packaging and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, has innovated in the application of KlaCup Natural Kraft®, creating an ideal product for the preservation and sale of contents, with the lid made from paper as well.

In addition to being sustainable, the solution is healthy for pets and helps with digestion. The product is easy to use: just remove the seal from the packaging and water it every day. The grass will sprout in a few days. After the grass has grown, your pet can eat it directly from the paper vase.
