Klabin in the Community is a space that brings together all of Klabin's activities in communities beyond its operations. Its content shows the work of people who participate in projects and programs and who benefit from the company's actions and activities.

READY TO GROW

Discover the story of Jaqueline and Sílvio Madruga, owners of Lingmone Defumados. With the support of the Social Forests Program, the couple is improving the work planning, the production and commercialization of their products. The entrepreneurs still managed to obtain a subsidy to certify their production as artisanal.

LEARNING IS FUN

Students at the João Rodrigues dos Santos Municipal School, in Imbaú, Paraná, are learning Portuguese in a different way, with the Digital Education Project. The pioneer initiative in the region is the result of a partnership between Klabin, the Imbaú Department of Education, and FazGame, a company that develops educational digital games.

MOUNTAIN TALENTS

Valuing local talents is also a way to contribute to regional development. Alexsandro Evaristo, industrial manager at the Correia Pinto Unit, and Suyane Fernandes, Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement supervisor, started their careers at Klabin and had opportunities for growth within the company.

RECYCLED GLASS, GUARANTEED INCOME

Telêmaco Borba (PR) was one of the first municipalities in Brazil to have a protocol to recycle glass! The procedure was developed by the consulting firm Ambipar Viraser Environment and transferred to local cooperatives by the Klabin Solid Waste Program, contributing to increasing the recycling of the material in the region.

LONG LIVE CINAT!

Five years ago, the Nature Interpretation Center (CINAT) was established. Built by Klabin in the State Natural Heritage Private Reserve (RPPNE) Serra da Farofa Complex, this facility is essential for advancing research in the region.

FIRE CONTROL

Klabin has an exclusive system to monitor forests. Composed of 18 cameras that reach up to 40 kilometers away, it assists in the care of the areas. The equipment also brings benefits to the community, as it helps identify fire outbreaks in neighboring areas.

A magazine that features Klabin's social and environmental programs conducted in partnership with public authorities, schools, NGOs, companies and individuals. In addition to recognizing the main actors behind these initiatives, without whom they would not be possible, they are actions that change the lives of communities.
