Klabin participates in event to celebrate Arbor Day in Feira de Santana

Bahia, September 23, 2019 – To celebrate Arbor Day, commemorated on September 21, Klabin, in partnership with the Education and Environment Department of Feira de Santana, Bahia, held an event to raise awareness among students of municipal schools and the Praça do Céu community by planting fruit trees. The company, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper, donated 179 seedlings of different species, including avocado, orange and ipe, which were planted by students, teachers, volunteers and Klabin employees.

 

The event lasted the entire week at the Maria Antônia, Monsenhor Jessé, Caique, Bonfim de Feira, Adelba, Maria Quiteria and Praça do Céu schools.
