Klabin is featured in Merco’s ranking for the 5th consecutive year
São Paulo, April 15, 2019 – On March 25, at an event held at the Monte Alegre campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC), Merco (Corporate Monitor of Corporate Reputation) awarded Klabin as the best reputation in the Wood, Pulp and Paper sector, title conquered for the fifth consecutive time by the company.
The ranking, which recognizes the companies with the best corporate reputation, is in its fifth edition in Brazil and is based on a study conducted with directors of companies that have annual revenues of more than US $ 40 million.
The evaluation methodology is generated by four phases, with 11 stakeholders. First the directors evaluate, with weight of 28% in the result. After this phase, results are collected from financial analysts, NGOs, trade unions, consumer associations, economics journalists, university and government professors, all weighing 7%. The influencers chosen by Merco also participate in this evaluation, but weighing 4% to calculate the ranking.
Merco is one of the leading reference monitors to measure reputation in the world, launched 19 years ago with an unprecedented evaluation methodology, which is now applied and disseminated in 12 countries: Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico , Peru, Costa Rica, Panama and Portugal.
