Klabin reaches a monthly production capacity of 20 million industrial sacks at the Goiana Plant

Goiana, 14th of November 2014 – Klabin, Brazil’s biggest paper manufacturer and exporter, attained a production capacity of 20 million sacks per month at the Goiana Plant, in Pernambuco. Installed 70 km from Recife, the plant also produces corrugated boxes and recycled paper and is set up to serve the markets of cement, mortar, gypsum, flour and others in the North and Northeast Regions. This expansion in Klabin’s capacity of industrial sack production in Goiana meant a growth of 185% when compared to the beginning of 2013.
