Klabin participates in the National Science and Technology Week in Guapimirim

Klabin, the biggest packaging paper manufacturer and exporter in Brazil, participated in the 4th National Science and Technology Week in Guapimirim, in Rio de Janeiro.

 

At its booth, the company attended over 1,000 students from public and private schools in the town and municipalities in the region. To show visitors how Klabin works and that it is present in everyone’s day-to-day, a kit with an educational pamphlet was distributed and company employees explained the technological process of recycling paper, performed by the company’s industrial plant in the town.

 

Among the event’s attractions, the highlights were the planetarium exhibition and various educative activities for the preservation of the environment.

 

The National Science and Technology Week is an event promoted by the Municipal Secretary of Education of Guapimirim.
