São Paulo, December 2, 2021  - For the third consecutive year, Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of paper for packaging and paper packaging, has won the award for the best company in the Reforestation, Pulp and Paper category at the Best of Agribusiness Awards organized by Globo Rural magazine.  The 17th edition of the awards were held on November 30, which were watched both online and live.

“For us, it is very important to be among the winners of such an important award for the sector.  Klabin is a century-old forestry-based company with a long-term vision, which makes respect for the environment essential to our business.  It’s during moments like this, when our work is recognized, is it clear to us that we are on the right path.  This recognition gives us the strength to continue developing increasingly renewable and biodegradable products,” said Valmir Calori, Forestry Business manager at Klabin, who represented the Company at the event.

Instituted in 2004, the Best of Agribusiness Awards are the result of a partnership between Globo Rural magazine and Serasa Experian, which is tasked with analyzing the data of companies competing for honors.  The evaluation criteria include the results of companies, as well as social and environmental responsibility aspects.
