Paraná, June 30, 2023 - Applications are open for Klabin’s Young Apprentice program for the position of Pulp and Paper Technician. The program is designed to foster grassroots social development through education, training and creation of job opportunities. Vacancies are limited and applications for the selection process will be accepted until June 5. 
 
In the two years of program, the initiative aims at developing in students the skills required to work in various operational areas, combining theoretical and practical activities carried out at part-time classes in Senai and at one of Klabin’s units in Paraná. Once the program is concluded, students will receive a training certificate of Pulp and Paper Technician. 
 
A total of 25 vacancies will be offered, 13 for the Monte Alegre Unit, in Telêmaco Borba, and 12 for the Puma Unit, in Ortigueira. Candidates must: be aged 18 to 22 on the start date of the training, preferably have household income ranging from two to three minimum wages, have completed high school, reside in Telêmaco Borba or Ortigueira and be available to attend the training program on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Selected candidates will receive a compensation and benefits such as health plan and meal voucher.
