São Paulo, December 27, 2016 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest paper producer and exporterand the leading producer of paper andpaperboardfor packaging, corrugated boardpackagingandindustrial bags, was elected for the fifth consecutive year as the best company in the Pulp and Papercategory in the “Brazil’s Most Admired Companies” ranking, according to a survey conducted by Officina Sophia, a market research institute specializing in business strategy, which belongs to the holding company HSR.

The survey, launched 18 years ago, is conducted through interviews with more than 1,100 executives who assess and score companies from different sectors that stood out the most during the year. The assessment takes into consideration criteria such as responsibility towards the Environment and the Community, Management Quality, Innovation, Ethics and Sustainable Development, among others. This year, 11 macro-sectors and 48 sectors were analyzed.
