Otacílio Costa, April 27, 2020 – Aware of the importance of joining hands in the fight against COVID-19, Klabin last week donated materials to the Municipality of Otacílio Costa. One hundred basic food baskets packed in the company’s corrugated board packaging were donated on April 21, in the presence of Klabin executives and municipal officials. The same day, 200 bottles of hand sanitizer were delivered for local distribution.

The food baskets will be distributed by the Community Development and Social Welfare Department to families in social vulnerable situation and who had earlier registered with the department.

Apart from the donations already made, more than 57,000 hospital items such as gloves, aprons and glasses, as well as 3,000 disposable masks and 200 bottles of hand sanitizer will be distributed.
