Klabin webcasts Singing Girls’ performance
Paraná, December 23, 2020 — To celebrate the holiday season and delight all those who follow and eagerly await the traditional Christmas Carols sung by Klabin’s Singing Girls, two videos were specially recorded by the choir girls and will be made available on the Company’s social networks on December 24. The repertoire will include two Christmas classics: “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”
In line with Klabin’s “Each Action Counts” initiatives, the carols will continue this year, even if remotely, bringing reflections on the care for during this pandemic, without losing the essence and traditional nature of Christmas, reinforcing the feelings of hope and fresh beginnings that the date inspires. “Rehearsing and producing the carols online was a collaborative challenge. It required dedication and focus from the girls, though we couldn’t but celebrate this moment. It is highly gratifying,” says Maria De Lourdes, Facilities manager at Klabin.
Launched in 2004 at the Monte Alegre Unit and expanded to the Puma Unit in 2017, the Singing Girls of Klabin is a group formed by the daughters of employees and young girls aged 7 to 17 in Telêmaco Borba e de Ortigueira. The group practices choir singing and the girls learn music theory, rhythm and vocal techniques.
