Itajaí, November 21, 2017 – Klabin supported another edition of the Corridado Bem charity run in Santa Catarina, organized by SESIto promote quality of life and encourage well-being among the population.This time the event was held in the city of Itajaí, in the second weekend of the month, in which more than 1,000 people from the entire region participated in the 5k and 10k runs.The event was targeted at youth, adults and the elderly, and also had a “children’s marathon.”

Klabin’s support to Corrida do Bem also included a special agenda for children, featuring a recreational workshop where kids let their imagination fly and had fun painting and drawing, and also received toys made of corrugated board, such as buses, houses and piggy banks.

While raising awareness among participants on the importance of adopting healthy habits, the run promotes solidarity, since a part of the amount raised through registrations goes to social institutions in the cities where it is held.Apart from Itajaí, this year Klabin sponsored runs in Lages and Brusque, two other cities in Santa Catarina.
