Klabin launches virtual tour of its operations
Interactive platform enables users to learn about the Company from end to end, from responsible forest management to the sustainable production of pulp, paper and packaging.
São Paulo, November 1, 2024 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, has just launched its “Virtual Tour”. By visiting the website visite.klabin.com.br, you can immerse yourself in the company and learn about responsible forest management, pulp, paper and packaging production, the Ecological Park, the Technology Center, and the Private Natural Heritage Reserves (RPPNs). Additionally, you can enjoy a 360-degree experience of the facilities.
The project originated from the necessity to meet the growing demand for tours of Klabin's facilities. “We are looking for a solution to maintain and strengthen our connection with the stakeholder groups of the company. Furthermore, with the virtual tour, we reinforce the transparency of our business and enable employees, suppliers, clients, investors, and even friends and family to visit our operations and get to know Klabin's processes up close, in addition to providing an educational experience,” says Carime Kanbour, manager of Communication, Reputation, and Institutional Relations at Klabin.
The tour is divided into six environments: Klabin Technology Center (CTK), Klabin Ecological Park (PEK), Forestry, Production Processes, Logistics, and Natural Heritage Private Reserve (RPPN). Each setting demonstrates how the Company incorporates sustainability and technology into its operations. When passing through the Forestry area, for example, the visitor learns about the responsible management of forests, the research and training developed, the harvesting process, planting in the form of mosaics - Klabin's trademark - among others.
The Logistics environment illustrates the functioning of processes that ensure the efficient and sustainable transportation of the Company's products. These processes utilize road, rail, and maritime modes, linking its operations to the global market. With illustrative videos, the visitor can follow the flow of materials from their origin, observing how the company optimizes its processes to reduce environmental impact.
Klabin's Virtual Tour was designed to offer an accessible experience to all users, featuring video, text, photo, and audio resources, and can be accessed on both mobile and desktop devices. The interface is intuitive, with signs that guide the visitor through the different spaces.
