Klabin launches the Natural Influencers campaign to celebrate Arbor Day
The film, narrated in the first person by a tree, aims to raise awareness on the importance of trees for human life
São Paulo, September 23, 2024 – In celebration of Arbor Day, commemorated on September 21, Klabin, Brazil's largest producer and exporter of paper for packaging and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, is launching the campaign “Natural Influencers”. With a modern and dynamic narrative, the film literally gives voice to the trees, demonstrating their protagonism and presence in our lives. Narrated in the first person, the script emphasizes the importance of trees for humanity and draws a parallel with "digital influencers," highlighting the genuine influence of trees using language that has become popular on social media.
"Klabin's business originates in the planted forests of pine and eucalyptus, but we recognize the importance of trees far beyond that. In addition to celebrating Arbor Day, our campaign emphasizes the profound importance of trees for environmental balance and our daily lives. After all, the trees impact the development of the fauna and flora, the climatic balance and the preservation of rivers and seas, they capture CO2 and release oxygen, among so many other functions,” explained Carime Kanbour, Communication, Reputation and Institutional Relations manager at Klabin.
Klabin stands out for its high forest productivity, which is unmatched worldwide. The company has over 750,000 hectares of forests in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and São Paulo, 42% of which is made up of conserved native forests.
