Initiative will present the Company’s production process and its social and environmental programs, and will also accept resumes 
 
Paraná, September 19, 2024 - Between September 21 and October 2, Klabin will take the Klabin in the Community project to some municipalities where the company operates in the state of Paraná. The traveling event, organized by the Company, will offer activities for both children and adults. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Klabin's sustainable operations and the social and environmental projects implemented in various cities. Moreover, participants can submit their resumes for available job openings at the company. 
 
The event, which is open to the public, will start in Sapopema during the municipality's festival on Saturday (21), from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Vinicius Lopes Carneiro Event Center, located on the road to Serra Grande, next to Linear Park. Following that, Cândido de Abreu will host the project on Friday, September 27, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at José Malucelli França Square. And, concluding the schedule, on October 2 (Wednesday), the city of Tibagi will have the opportunity to learn more about Klabin at an event held at Edmundo Mercer Square, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
 
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about Klabin's production process, starting from the planting of pine and eucalyptus trees—with safety tips for the community—moving through the industrial processes, and culminating in the final products that are part of people's everyday lives. 
 
The proposal aims to use interactive models to help visitors understand the operation of various equipment and procedures in the manufacturing sector. Additionally, it seeks to inform them about the neighboring forestry operations, providing guidance on how to keep their families safe during soil preparation, planting, and harvesting activities. For example, participants can simulate driving a tree transport truck along a road to the mill and learn about the company's initiatives for maintaining municipal roads.
 
The project will include panels displaying photos and information about the social programs that the Company implements in the cities where it operates. Additionally, it will include a memory game that highlights the individuals who benefit from these initiatives. The event will also offer the opportunity for visitors to submit their resumes if they want to participate in the Company's selection processes. Additionally, there will be an interactive space where visitors can explore Klabin's 90-year history in Paraná, which is being celebrated this year.
