Klabin CEO Cristiano Teixeira elected “Executivo de Valor”

He won in the Paper, Cardboard and Pulp category. The 24th edition of Valor Econômico awards was held in São Paulo.  


 
São Paulo, May 28, 2024 – Cristiano Teixeira, CEO of Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, and the only one in the country to offer hardwood, softwood and fluff pulp, was elected “Executivo de Valor” at the 24th edition of the awards organized by Valor Econômico newspaper. The awards ceremony, held on May 27th in São Paulo, honored leaders across 24 categories in diverse sectors. Teixeira won the award in the Paper, Cardboard and Pulp category. 

 


The award highlights Cristiano Teixeira’s efforts and commitment at the helm of Klabin, whose recent trajectory has been marked by growth, operational efficiency and sustainable development. With over three decades of experience in logistics, procurement, planning and projects, Teixeira is a leader recognized for expanding the Company’s production capacity and its entry in new markets, besides strengthening the brand as a global supplier of pulp, paper and paper packaging. 

 


Award winners are nominated by managers of member companies of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), a global professional association that ensures high standards of quality and conduct in executive selection and leadership consulting. The final decision is taken by a jury, which evaluates criteria such as the company’s performance the previous year, the CEO’s capacity to implement a management practice focused on innovation, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, as well as their adaptability and market reputation.
