Klabin celebrates 125 years with campaign highlighting its business attributes

Company showcases its centennial legacy through the concept "Efficiency that transforms" 


São Paulo, April 29, 2024 – Klabin, Brazil's largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, is celebrating 125 years of history. To celebrate the date, officially celebrated on April 19, the company has launched a campaign on the theme of efficiency. With the concept "Efficiency that transforms," the pieces emphasize the Company's capacity to transform its forest base into value-added solutions that are present in the daily lives of millions of people inside and outside Brazil.


The Company is recognized for having one of the world’s largest integrated forestry operations, for being the only company in Brazil to offer hardwood pulp, softwood pulp, and fluff pulp, and for being the largest producer of paper packaging in the country, with a unique portfolio of papers and paperboards for packaging. It is the mix of integration, diversification, and flexibility - a business model adopted by the company. "The pursuit of efficiency is one of Klabin's main business drivers, which is reflected in our actions, commitments and initiatives aimed at expanding the use of technology, our social and environmental responsibility and the quality of our products. Transformation is a constant at the Company, and to celebrate our 125 years, we chose a campaign featuring a concept that underscores our integrated portfolio, the company's successful legacy, and our ability to be prepared for the future," explains Carime Kanbour, Communication, Reputation and Institutional Relations Manager at Klabin. 


The campaign consists of a 60-second video aired on Klabin's social media platforms and advertisements in major newspapers and media portals. The concept "Efficiency that transforms" will permeate the Company's institutional campaigns throughout 2024. "It was chosen because it represents the company's business attributes. We want to reaffirm Klabin's commitment to sustainable and quality deliveries for the coming years, demonstrating how efficiency is the engine that has been driving the Company for over a century," explains Mayra Cordeiro, partner and CCO at OMZ, the agency that created the campaign.
