São Paulo, 15 August 2023 — In the last weekend of July, Klabin organized the first phase of the third Klabin’s Sowing Education of Good Practices Awards in partnership with consulting firm Interação Urbana, to honor teachers and managers. Seventeen professionals from the states of Pernambuco, São Paulo and Santa Catarina, and the city of Rio Negro in Paraná, were given the award. They won a cultural trip to São Paulo. On July 29, the group visited Portuguese Language Museum in the morning before participating in the awards ceremony held at the Casa Museu Ema Klabin, where they took a guided tour.
The Klabin Sowing Education Award promotes the sharing of experiences among managers, coordinators and teachers to strengthen successful teaching practices. The collaboration encourages the launch of inclusive and equitable educational projects, creating an environment capable of directly benefitting students. In fact, the scrutiny of projects based on criteria such as relevance, theoretical foundation and inclusion ensures the creation of efficient learning environments that benefit both teachers and students.
Since its launch, the program has already benefitted more than 146 schools, impacting approximately 1,218 educational professionals, including 327 managers and 891 teachers. It has also benefited more than 22,000 students in the states of Paraná, Pernambuco, São Paulo and Santa Catarina.
Note that the program is also aligned with the SDG 4 of the United Nations, which aims to promote quality lifelong education for all. Through the program, Klabin reaffirms its commitment to actions that help it achieve the Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015. The second phase of the award will be held in December, when 20 winners from other cities across Paraná will be honored.
