Klabin’s paper cups, plates and waste bins were used at the event for coffee lovers
 

São Paulo, July 2023 – The most recent edition of the São Paulo Coffee Festival, a meeting for coffee aficionados, received support from Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging. At the event, which was held in late June in Biennial Pavilion at Ibirapuera Park, Klabin showcased various sustainable products to further reinforce its commitment to sustainability and contribute to a eco-friendlier experience in the festival. 
 
KlaCup Natural Kraft® paperboard was used to make the event’s official cup, a product that confers exceptional printing and presentation quality, making it well aligned with the latest trends and demands for more natural and sustainable products. The paperboard also is produced using both pine and eucalyptus fibers, which gives the final product greater strength and structure.
 
Klabin also contributed plates made from its paperboard and corrugated board for recycling receptacles, which like the cups, are easily recyclable. The initiative aimed to raise environmental awareness among event goers and to highlight the importance of sustainable practices in the coffee industry.
  
“Our participation helped reinforce our commitment to always offering high quality solutions that make the most of resources and reduce environmental impacts. In short, the event gave us an opportunity to showcase our sustainable solutions to the entire coffee value chain, from producers to consumers,” said André De Marco, Product Development and Market Manager at Klabin. 
 
This is the second time the Coffee Festival was held in Brazil. For over ten years, the internationally consecrated event has been gathering coffee producers, experts and enthusiasts in various different countries.
