About G-Stic

With the mission of accelerating the development and deployment of technological solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), G-Stic Rio will hold sessions on six themes:  Health, Education, Water, Energy, Climate and Oceans.  Initially led by Vito, a Belgian technology institute that still remains highly engaged in the event, G-Stic is currently co-organized by seven other non-profit research institutes from all regions across the world:  Fiocruz, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa, Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC) in China, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in South Korea, National Center for Technology Management (NACETEM) in Nigeria, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in India and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).  At the end of the event, a charter is drafted and later widely discussed in international forums, such as the UN Science and Technology Forum.
