The programs are open to those with high school diplomas or graduating in 2022 and for students starting high school in 2023.
 

Paraná, October 27, 2022 – The Forestry and Agriculture Vocational Training Center of Ortigueira, the only school in Brazil and Latin America of this kind, inspired by a model from Scandinavian countries, is accepting, until October 31, enrollments for vocational programs in Agribusiness, Forestry Machinery Operation and Heavy Machine Maintenance. To enroll, students must access the form at Pre-enrollment 2023.  
 
After enrolling, candidates should wait to be contacted by the institution via a WhatsApp message to schedule an interview and go in person to the institution to submit the following documents: photo ID (RG), tax ID card (CPF), proof of residence, academic records and a statement that they are in the last year (9th grade) of middle school or senior year (12th grade) of high school signed by the institution where they are enrolled. 
 
Located in the municipality of Ortigueira, the school offers complete facilities, including classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, restrooms, industrial kitchen, cafeteria, multi-sport court and leisure area, which are part of an exclusive boarding school with full-time programs for students who live in other municipalities.

Agribusiness Technician (Morning):
 · Integrated program – for students concluding middle school in 2022, with three-year duration.
 
 Forest Machinery Operations Technician (full-time integrated and subsequent program and subsequent evening program):
 · Integrated program – for students concluding middle school in 2022 with three-year duration;
 · Subsequent program – for students graduating from high school in 2022 or in prior years, with two-year duration for the evening program and one-year-and-half for full-time day program.
 
 Forest Machinery Operation Technician (full-time integrated program and subsequent evening program):
 · Integrated program – for students concluding middle school in 2022, with three-year duration;
 · Subsequent program – for students graduating from high school in 2022 or prior years, with one-year duration.

About the State Forestry and Agriculture Vocational Training Center of Ortigueira      
 
Inaugurated in 2020, the State Forestry and Agriculture Vocational Training Center of Ortigueira is the result of a partnership between Klabin, the Municipal Government of Ortigueira and the State Government of Paraná. Klabin invested over R$30 million in the school to provide it with a complete infrastructure consisting of classrooms, fully equipped labs, bathrooms, industrial kitchen, cafeteria, multi-sports court and a leisure area with capacity for 800 students. The school also has an exclusive boarding school for students younger than 16 enrolled in full-time programs. When developing the project, Klabin and representatives from the Paraná State Education Department, the Telêmaco Borba Regional Education Center and the Municipal Government of Ortigueira visited similar schools in Finland and Sweden, located in the Scandinavian region, which is a global benchmark in the pulp and paper industry.
