Children and adolescents participating in the project enjoyed the whole experience, with popcorn, soda and candies

Paraná, October 26, 2022 – To celebrate Children’s Day, which falls in October, Klabin, through the Encantos do Imbaú program in partnership with the municipal government of Imbaú, held a movie session for 50 students in the city of Telêmaco Borba. Project participants watched the movie Toy Story 4, while enjoying popcorn and soda, and received a bag of candies after the movie.

According to Soeli Almeida, the project’s Community Services Coordinator, “the initiative is very important since we understand that culture is an important tool to develop and enrich the knowledge of these children.” 

Launched in August 2019, the social and educational project Encantos do Imbaú is sponsored by Klabin and offers guitar, keyboard, percussion, choir singing and musical theory lessons to children and adolescents aged 7 to 15 served by the Commuinty Services and Strengthening of Bonds Service.   It is carried out in partnership with the municipal government of Imbaú. 

“We are very happy to provide this unique, and to some students new, experience of going to the movies. Klabin takes pride in being part of such an important project that promotes inclusion and culture in the communities where it operates,” said Uilson Paiva, Community Relations manager at Klabin.
