Klabin, HEINEKEN Group and Hub Incríveis to extend deadline of Call for Projects to support a 100% circular region in Paraná state


São Paulo, February 24, 2022 – The deadline for submissions to the Call for Projects for the TC100 Project was extended until February 28. Managed jointly by Klabin, HEINEKEN Group and HUB Incríveis, the initiative’s goal is to make Telêmaco Borba, Paraná the first city in Brazil to become a 100% circular region by ensure that all materials and packaging made from glass, paper, aluminum, metal and plastic are sent for recycling, avoiding their disposal in landfills. The purpose of the Call for Projects is to attract companies, startups, NGOs, cooperative networks, municipal consortia and educational and research institutes to propose solutions that cause positive impacts on the circularity of packaging. 
Once closed for submissions, the project will have a Pitch Day, an online event, on March 17, during which the agendas of those projects pre-selected will be presented to an examination panel formed by specialists in ESG from the companies leading the project. Each presentation will last a maximum of 7 minutes and be finalized with a round of questions from the panel.  Later, the winning ideas will be selected, which will advance in the TC100 Project.
