Paraná, February 23, 2022 - Registrations are now open for the socio-educational programs offered by Klabin in Telêmaco Borba and Ortigueira, cities in Paraná state where it has industrial operations. Openings are limited for the activities, which are completely free of charge and include cultural actions such as singing, dance and capoeira classes for children and teens from age 6 to 17.
 
To apply, send an email to:  socioeducativos@klabin.com.br, including your full name, date of birth, name and contact information of parents/guardians, home/mobile numbers, period of study and city of residence.
 
The classes, which will be held onsite, seek to combine leisure and learning with activities that help to improve physical and mental wellbeing, while fostering quality of life.  “Klabin’s dance classes were really important for me. I always wanted to take dance classes, and thanks to the initiative, I was able to make it happen. It’s great to see that, in addition to creating jobs and benefits, Klabin also prioritizes actions in social responsibility,” said Ana Luiza Miranda, a member of the Right Step Program (Dance) from 2009 to 2014 and currently an apprentice in the Facilities area at Klabin’s Monte Alegre Unit.
 
“We are very pleased to be offering these initiatives once again, because they not only foster sustainable development, but also encourage kids and young adults to improve their skills and strengthen their values, which benefits their communities,” said Maria de Lourdes, Facilities Corporate Manager at Klabin.
