São Paulo, October 20, 2020 –  In October, Klabin participated in two important national events – Fispal Tec Digital Week, targeted at the packaging market, and Hacking.Rio, focused on innovation.

At the first event, held from October 6 to 9, besides showcasing diverse products at the event’s online store, the Company participated in a webinar on “Packaging of the future – how to combine innovation with the client’s desire for sustainable and connected packaging.” Roberto Bisogni, packaging manager at Klabin discussed the theme with representatives from Tetra Pak, Gole Divino, Cargill and Seara. The event was targeted at professionals and new entrepreneurs in the food, beverage and packaging industries.

In addition, Klabin was also one of the sponsors of Hacking.Rio, considered the largest hackathon in Latin America. During the event, held between October 9 and 11, the company launched a sustainability challenge, in which participants had to create a solution to track and measure the quantity of packaging of the company that returns for recycling after consumption. Three solutions made it to the final and will be analyzed by the company. The hackathon is a technology event that brings together programmers, designers and other professionals in working marathons to create solutions, discuss ideas, develop projects and explore digital information.
