Klabin’s Right Step Program has end-of-year presentations

Paraná, November 16, 2017 – The Right Step Program is an initiative of Klabin in partnership with Studio 3 Cia. de Dança to offer contemporary dance and capoeira classes for children aged above 6 of employees as well as teens and youth of Telêmaco Borba and Ortigueira, Paraná.During the year, the classes prepare students for the year-end presentations.

 

Last week, Puma Unit employees held the 1st Cultural Exhibition of the Klabin Right Step Program at Centro Cultural Queimadas, which featured a presentation of “Jardim Encantado” and the baptism of capoeira students.

 

In early October, the Monte Alegre Unit hosted the 10th Cultural Exhibition, and the theme of the dance performance was “Memories of a playful body,” which highlighted the importance of playing, inviting the audience to go back in time and remember the joy found in the fields, squares, streets and gardens with games such as hide-and-seek, catch-and-release, clapping games, hopscotch, twinkle and others.On November 16, capoeira students will have their baptism and change of belts, followed by a capoeira and maculelê performance.

 

Klabin Right Step Program

 

Inaugurated in 2008 at the Monte Alegre Unit and expanded to the Puma Unit in 2017, the Klabin Right Step Program is a partnership with Studio 3 Cia. de Dança (São Paulo), which offers contemporary dance and capoeira activities for children aged 6 or older of Klabin employees, as well as youth from the city, with the main purpose of developing a body language through art and promoting the quality of life of employees.
