Klabin Officer elected “Finance Executive of the Year” by IBEF, São Paulo
São Paulo, December 7, 2017 – Klabin’s Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, Eduardode Toledo, received on December 6th “Troféu Equilibrista 2017” for his outstanding work during the year. The “Finance Executive of the Year” award is given by the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives of São Paulo (IBEF) and honors professionals from among its members that stood out in their work.
The institution nominates finance executives with careers spanning more than 10 years and who hold the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in large corporations. The winner received the “O Equilibrista” trophy, a bronze statue designed by sculptor Osni Branco, which represents the challenges inherent to the career and the skills required from professionals in this area.
Toledo holds bachelor’s degrees in Production Engineering and Economics, has participated in the International Executive Program of INSEAD and in the Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness program at the Columbia University. He worked at the Ultra Group as Statutory Officer of Ultrapar, and in the MSP Group as Director of Biopalma and Sertrading. Currently, in addition to serving as an officer at Klabin, he is a director and the coordinator of the Audit Committee at Odontoprev, and a director and member of the Audit Committee at Omega Geração.
At the event, held at Casa Charlô in São Paulo, Pedro Parente, CEO of Petrobras, Sandra Guerra, managing partner of Better Governance, and Eduardo Gouveia, CEO of Alelo, were also honored for outstanding work in 2017.
