São Paulo, August 9, 2017 – Klabin was one of the sponsors of the project ‘Mexa-se Piracicaba’, held on Sunday, 6, by the EPTV channel, affiliated with Globo Network Television, to celebrate the 250 years of the municipality.The event, which was held for the first time in the city, received over 15 thousand people and offered several health and entertainment activities and services throughout the day to the community in the region.

Beside being a sponsor, Klabin donated 5,000 seed-pencils and 4,000 toys made of corrugated cardboard, which were used at painting workshops in a recreational area.“Supporting actions like these, with important services being offered to the community around us is essentially a form of celebrating and integrating the population.Klabin has been present in Piracicaba for about 50 years.Not only have we followed the city’s development, we have also grown with it”, declared Marcelo Spessoto, Klabin’s People & Management coordinator.
