Rio Grande do Sul, July 5, 2019 – Today, Klabin donated 10 thousand booklets on environment preservation, the focus on the biodiversity found at the Rua da Praia Park, to the city of São Leopoldo. The booklets will be distributed at the municipal schools in the city and the region during the school year.

The donation was part of São Leopoldo Fest held at the Rio dos Sinos Museum, which brought together students, teachers, resident associations and government officials. For Marcos Castilho, manager of Klabin’s São Leopoldo Unit, learning and sharing knowledge play an important role in raising social awareness to make sustainable decisions that prevent harm for the planet’s future generations. “Klabin believes that economic, social and cultural empowerment of communities is the path to development in each region,” he added.
