Klabin Sowing Education Program invites you to the live webcast on May 6

Event will discuss current education practices in the challenging scenario and present awards to teachers with the best initiatives in 2020 

 
As part of its commitment to the development of the communities where it operates, Klabin, through the Klabin Sowing Education Program, will hold a live webcast on May 6 at 2:30 p.m. for academic professionals, parents and all those interested in the subject. The virtual event will feature  ngela Luiz, pedagogical coordinator at the Educational Community (CEDAC), Kelly Orasi, actress and storyteller and Décio Gioielli, musician.


Teachers and managers who won the Good Practices Competition in 2020 held by the Sowing Education Program will be announced. 0}Klabin believes these awards are the first step towards implementing a more collaborative education.


The event will also discuss how the Educational Development Arrangement (ADE) was another solution found by the Sowing Education program to bring together towns and regions to implement more synergistic actions that brought improvements to education.


Education Development Arrangement (ADE) is an initiative that combines the efforts of municipal and state school networks to jointly work with public authorities to overcome difficulties and guarantee learning for students. 0}It is through the ADE that the Sowing Education Program seeks to further expand its project to other regions.


“Klabin believes that programs such as Sowing Education can contribute to better quality and more equal education by promoting opportunities for lifelong learning. 0}The program is aligned with the premises of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 recommended by the UN and by all those who believe in the power of education,” says Uilson Paiva, manager of Social Responsibility and Community Relations.


The program, which already existed in Telêmaco Borba, Imbaú and Ortiguera (Paraná), was expanded to eleven other regions in 2021: Tibagi, Reserva, Sapopema, Curiúva, Rio Branco do Ivaí, Ventania and Jaguariaíva (Paraná), Otacílio Costa, Correia Pinto and Lages (Santa Catarina) and Goiana (Pernambuco).
