Klabin releases Forest Stewardship Plan in Paraná

Paraná, June 19, 2015 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest packaging paper producer and exporter, released its 2015 Forest Stewardship Plan for Paraná on its website.The material presents Klabin initiatives for adequate stewardship of its forests and social and environmental actions.

 

The document describes Klabin’s forest areas in Paraná, with geo-climatic, topographic, geologic and hydrologic data.The content also sheds light on wood forest stewardship, including its different fields and operations, such as research, planning, development, seedling supply, silviculture and forestry transportation, in addition to non-wood forest stewardship practices.
