Santa Catarina, October 10, 2019 – Klabin is participating in the ExpoLages 2019 fair held from October 10 to 13 at Parque de Exposições Conta Dinheiro in Lages, Santa Catarina. The company invites the community to visit the traditional event held in the city, and learn about the history and products of the company, which has been present in the city for 50 years. Visitors will see benches, tables and deck chairs made of corrugated board using raw material derived from planted and certified forests.

They will also have the opportunity to explore and buy customized packaging from Klabin ForYou, the company’s new digital platform that offers solutions in paper, recyclable and biodegradable material and those made from renewable natural resources.

The event showcases solutions and products for the agribusiness industry, as well as multi-sector auctions and exhibitions for companies that have the opportunity to invest in the area, especially in terms of sustainability, one of the key pillars of Klabin’s operations.

For 50 years, Klabin has been producing industrial bags in Lages. The company prioritizes the development of communities where it operates and implements social and environmental projects regionally, such as Caiubi, which disseminates the concepts of ecological awareness among teachers, and Growing Up Reading, which encourages the reading habit among students of public schools.
