Klabin participates in the 27th Special Coffees Fair

São Paulo, 10th of April 2015 – Klabin, Brazil’s biggest manufacturer and exporter of packaging paper, is presenting its solution for packaging coffee beans, during the 27th Special Coffees Fair. The event is being held between the 10th and 12th of April at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, in the United States.

 

The coffee packaging manufactured by Klabin is produced with high-strength paper and can be printed in up to eight colors. With a capacity of 30 kilos, it is airtight thanks to its closure system, has a high barrier foil and is light-proof. “These features assure safety and quality for the product and preserve the original characteristics of the coffee. The packaging also has a system known as Easy Open, that facilitates opening for the end customer”, explains Douglas Dalmasi, director of Klabin’s division of Industrial Sacks.

 

The sacks can be easily stored, permitting stacking in an organized, safe manner and optimizing the storage space and transportation of the merchandise. Produced with raw material originating from renewable sources, planted, certified forests, the package is 100% recyclable as is all of Klabin’s packaging.
