The passage of Klabin trucks on the old BR-2 highway has brought a nuisance to João Paulo Schmidt Ceccato's family: dust. Concerned about his son's respiratory health and the cleanliness of his property in rural Lages, he contacted the company to ask for attention to the situation. "They were very helpful and, in no time, the water truck was already here to wet down the road. What's more, if it rains and there's a hole, Klabin comes the next day and lays gravel. This is essential for us to get to the city," he says.

The attentive service is also witnessed by Pedro Venção and Zeli Salete Tripoli Venção, residents of Capão Alto, who live in a house on the banks of the old BR-2, at KM 14. "We have nothing to complain about. There are trucks that come to wet the roads four or five times a day. If there's damage to the road early in the morning, Klabin fixes it in the afternoon. The trucks also take care of the animals," says Mr. Pedro.
