São Paulo, April 27, 2026 – Klabin participated, in April, in the CDP Awards Latin America 2026, an event held in São Paulo as part of the agenda celebrating the 25th anniversary of CDP, a global non-profit organization that manages the world's only independent environmental disclosure system. During the ceremony, the Company was recognized with the Triple A award, the highest rating granted to companies with excellent performance in Climate, Changes, Forests, and Water Security.
The recognition was received by Júlio Nogueira, Sustainability and Environment Manager at Klabin, who represented the Company at the event. In 2025, more than 22,000 companies reported data to CDP, and only 23 organizations worldwide achieved the highest score in all three evaluated topics, positioning Klabin among the global leaders in environmental governance, transparency, and social and environmental risk management.
In addition to the award, Júlio Nogueira participated in a panel that discussed the results of the CDP Corporate Health Check, a study developed in partnership with the consulting firm Oliver Wyman. The analysis, based on environmental data disclosed by more than 10,000 companies globally, evaluates the relationship between climate, water, and forest management and financial performance, resilience, and business competitiveness. The survey highlights that companies with environmental leadership reduce emissions at a rate up to four times higher than their peers and have a greater ability to unlock financial opportunities associated with the low-carbon economy. The full study is available at this link.
