Klabin presents packaging solutions for fresh produce to Fruit Attraction 2026

Paper packaging is increasingly gaining ground in the fresh produce supply chain by enhancing protection, improving logistics efficiency, and elevating the retail presentation of fruits and vegetables



São Paulo, March 19, 2026 – Klabin, Brazil's largest producer and exporter of packaging paper, a leader in corrugated board packaging and a reference in short, long, and fluff market pulp, participates in the third edition of Fruit Attraction, to be held from March 24 to 26 at the São Paulo Expo & Convention Center, in São Paulo. At the Company's booth, visitors will be able to learn about solutions developed to meet the demands of the fruit and vegetable (fresh produce) sector.

Klabin's portfolio includes corrugated board packaging and industrial bags made with virgin fiber papers sourced from planted forests certified by international bodies. Designed to be recyclable after use, these solutions are developed to ensure durability and performance throughout the entire logistics chain—from transportation to storage—helping preserve the quality of fresh food until it reaches the end consumer.

The fresh produce sector—including fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens—has experienced consistent growth both within Brazil and abroad, driven by the global demand for fresh and healthy foods. Today, Brazil ranks as the third-largest fruit producer worldwide and is steadily increasing its presence in global markets. According to the Brazilian Association of Exporters of Fruits and Byproducts (Abrafrutas), exports reached approximately US$1.45 billion in 2025, a new historical record, with growth in both volume and value in recent years. Even so, only a small portion of national production is destined for foreign markets, which highlights the potential for expansion into new markets and reinforces the importance of logistics and packaging solutions that preserve product quality throughout the supply chain.
