In less than a year, five of the Company's mills obtained ISO 14001 certification



São Paulo, January 6, 2025 – Klabin, the largest producer and exporter of packaging paper in Brazil, a leader in corrugated board packaging and a reference in short, long, and fluff market pulp, has obtained ISO 14001 certification—the international standard for Environmental Management Systems—for five more of its industrial units. The Company's efforts to ensure that all operational industrial units are compliant with the standard reinforce the commitment to sustainability and attest that every stage of its production chain is dedicated to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.

The plants that completed the adaptation process in 2025 were Pilar, in Argentina, Horizonte (CE), Rio Verde (GO), and Rio Negro (PR), as well as the newly inaugurated Piracicaba II Unit (SP). In 2024, the Manaus I (AM) unit also obtained the certification.
