Klabin in the Community brought its traveling program to five municipalities in Paraná, strengthening dialogue with local residents

The event in local cities addressed questions about the Company's operations and strengthened relationships with municipalities

Paraná – December 30, 2025 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper, a leader in corrugated board packaging and a benchmark in short-fiber, long-fiber, and fluff market pulp, has concluded the 2025 edition of its traveling program, Klabin in the Community. The initiative visited five municipalities in Paraná—Jaguariaíva, Ventania, Tibagi, Cândido de Abreu, and Ortigueira—with the goal of enhancing dialogue with local communities. Throughout the event, the interactive booth welcomed over a thousand residents of all ages, expanding public knowledge of the Company’s presence and positive impact in the region.

The space was structured in areas dedicated to forests, industry and social programs. In the forestry area, real eucalyptus and pine seedlings, along with informative videos, illustrated the mosaic management approach—a method that integrates productive areas with the preservation of native vegetation. In the industrial area, models and digital displays showcased the stages of pulp and paper production, while interactive games and educational activities highlighted the Company’s social and environmental initiatives.

The data collected during the event show that the initiative successfully fulfilled its communication objectives with the audience. According to the survey conducted, 92.7% of participants reported that they understood well or completely the information and processes presented, with no responses indicating a lack of understanding. Additionally, 92.1% stated that the experience was instrumental in helping them recognize the Company's impact on the local community.

"The Klabin in the Community Program was designed as a space for listening and dialogue, not just for institutional presentations. According to our research, over 30% of respondents were not aware of Klabin’s initiatives within local communities. This highlights the importance of ongoing engagement, as helping people understand how our forests, industry, and social programs operate leads to more transparent dialogue and a closer connection to local realities,” explained Maria Harumi, Social Responsibility and Community Relations Manager at Klabin.

In addition to institutional content, topics of direct interest to the community—such as road safety—were featured through informational panels and an interactive simulator. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore job openings at Klabin by scanning a QR code to submit their resumes or by handing them in at a dedicated area, underscoring Klabin’s commitment to hiring local talent.

"Holding the event in different cities showed that each community has its own expectations and demands. The project allows us to adapt the initiative to each reality and focus on building long-term relationships, based on clear information and constant presence," said Maria Harumi.
