Telêmaco Borba (PR), December 15, 2025 – Klabin has begun the replacement of the rail and traction cables of the Aerial Tramway in Telêmaco Borba. The tramway is a historical and cultural symbol of the municipality and serves as a means of transportation for the company's employees and partners. The operation, considered as one of the most complex ever undertaken on the structure, is intended to ensure the operational safety and longevity of the tramway, in accordance with the equipment's scheduled maintenance plan.

The maintenance schedule includes several phases that will occur between December 2025 and February 2026. With the completion of the planned phases, the expectation is that the tramway will resume normal operations in the second half of March 2026. During this period, Klabin is operating an alternative transportation plan for its employees.

A symbol of Telêmaco Borba, the tramway represents the historic connection between the Company and the city. Beyond serving as transportation, it holds a cherished place in the community’s collective memory and highlights Klabin’s dedication to preserving a heritage that is an integral part of the municipality’s daily life and history. Maintenance is also a crucial measure to ensure the safe and continuous operation, as well as the well-being of everyone who uses or visits the location.

The intervention will follow strict operational protocols, and the community will be notified of any access restrictions near the stations during the most sensitive phases of the works, with the goal of ensuring transparency and public safety.
