Activities will resume this Saturday (15th), following scheduled maintenance that began on November 3rd

Paraná, November 13, 2025 - Klabin has started the process of resuming operations at the Ortigueira Unit, after the General Shutdown period that began on November 3. With the end of maintenance, scheduled for Friday (14), the Company will gradually advance the process of demobilizing the teams hired for the Shutdown.

Due to the restart of the mill, characteristic noise and odor may be noticed in the vicinity of the Unit. Klabin emphasizes that all maintenance and restart procedures are carried out in accordance with safety standards. These activities do not pose any risk to people's health or to the environment.

The General Shutdown is a process required by the Brazilian Regulatory Standards, designed for the maintenance of mill machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safeguard the well-being of both employees and the surrounding community. In addition to maintenance, the General Shutdown allows the Unit to implement ongoing improvements, such as technological upgrades, always aiming to enhance productivity and operational safety.
