The largest multi-sector fair in Santa Catarina takes place between October 8 and 12 at Conta Dinheiro Park, in Lages



Santa Catarina, October 9, 2025 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, is participating in Expolages 2025, which takes place from October 8 to 12 at Conta Dinheiro Park in Lages (SC). The Company showcases sustainability initiatives for its business, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable practices and products derived from planted forests.

Expolages, which is the largest multisectoral fair in Santa Catarina, brings together exhibitors from various areas, including automobiles, industry, commerce, agricultural machinery and implements, animal genetics, services, innovation and technologies for the field. The event is expected to attract thousands of visitors, stimulating the local economy and strengthening the ties between producers, investors, and consumers.

At the Klabin booth, visitors will learn about innovative paper packaging solutions, featuring products such as corrugated board packaging, paperboard, and industrial bags produced at the Lages Unit – the largest industrial bag mill in the world. These products are widely used in sectors ranging from construction to the food industry and agribusiness.

With over 60 years of operations in Santa Catarina, Klabin manages an extensive forest area in the state, covering several municipalities and contributing to the sustainable and economic development of the region. Klabin’s forest areas in Santa Catarina include more than 5,000 kilometers of rivers and over 9,000 watersheds protected by the company, which ensure water supply in the region. Klabin’s total preserved native forests in the state account for 46% of Santa Catarina’s total forest area, amounting to over 91,000 hectares.
