São Paulo, August 7, 2025 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable solutions in paper packaging, has received additional recognition for its sustainable practices. The Company earned platinum medal from EcoVadis, a global platform that analyzes topics such as Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This is the highest level of the evaluation.

Overall, Klabin scored 87 points out of a total of 100, the highest score in the Company's history, placing it in the top 1% of companies with the best performance among all those in the EcoVadis database. Among the evaluated categories, the highlight was in Environment, where Klabin achieved the maximum score of 100 points.

EcoVadis is considered one of the most recognized providers in the world for business sustainability ratings and evaluates over 150,000 institutions. The methodology is based on internationally recognized standards in the classification of business sustainability.

This achievement reflects the evolution of Klabin's sustainable practices and initiatives and shows that we have progressed in all the topics addressed, reinforcing that our improvement efforts are on the right track for constant evolution in our sustainable practices,” says Júlio Nogueira, Corporate Sustainability and Environment Manager at Klabin.

Klabin was one of the first companies in Brazil to work with EcoVadis in order to help its partners improve their processes related to best sustainability practices. “We also use the tool to monitor the performance of our suppliers and assist them in improving on the topics covered by the platform,” adds Júlio Nogueira.
