São Paulo, July 30, 2025 – Klabin, a leader in the corrugated board packaging, industrial bags, and paperboard markets, is participating in the 9th edition of the Brazilian Cement Congress and ExpoCimento, taking place at the WTC Golden Hall in São Paulo through July 2. Regarded as one of the largest in the industry, this year's event brings together experts and authorities to discuss topics such as energy transition, decarbonization and technological innovation.

Among the products showcased by Klabin is Ekomix®, a cement packaging solution made from 100% dispersible paper. This packaging can be integrated into the concrete preparation process, ensuring product quality while eliminating waste at the construction site. The solution was recognized for its quality, innovation and functionality through awards such as the ABRE Award and the WorldStar Global Packaging Awards, one of the main honors in the global packaging industry.

Another sustainable solution being showcased is Ekolayer®, which features an eco-friendly barrier and eliminates the need for plastic film in its composition. The technology employed is highly efficient, as it prevents moisture ingress and prolongs the shelf life of the packaged product, maintaining its original characteristics.

These solutions were developed by the team of researchers at the Klabin Technology Center (CTK), in partnership with the company's commercial and engineering areas. They reflect Klabin's commitment to sustainability, offering clients from various segments a wide range of customized solutions for specific needs. Furthermore, all the Company's packaging is renewable, produced from planted and certified forests, and recyclable.

Consolidated as the largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable paper packaging solutions in Brazil, Klabin operates the world's largest industrial bag mill, located in Lages, Santa Catarina.
