Klabin inaugurates new Professional Training Center in Harmonia
Center will train professionals at the Monte Alegre, Puma, and Forestry Units and will be the gateway for trainees and apprentices.
Paraná, April 18, 2024 - Starting from April 18, the training and specialization activities offered by the Klabin Professional Training Center in Harmonia will be conducted at the same address, in the building where the Manoel Ribas State School used to function and which has since been modernized and its entire internal infrastructure renovated.
Respecting the architecture of the building, which is historically endeared to the community, Klabin carried out the renovation work, including painting and furniture, besides acquiring new equipment, Wi-Fi network throughout the building and multimedia equipment, among other improvements.
Until now, training programs were conducted in rooms at Klabin's own units in Paraná, but, with the evolution of the training project, it was necessary to plan a larger space with more resources for employees working in the state. Klabin's new training center will also offer opportunities for the community, with vacancies for apprentices and trainees, who could work at one of the three units in the region.
As such, the same space will provide opportunities for those interested in starting a career at the Company, as well as for workers seeking refresher courses, on diverse knowledge paths that are essential for their professional journey.
"The Klabin Professional Training Center was established with the commitment to foster the development of workers in the region, both for those working at Klabin and want to grow with the Company, and for those seeking quality education, with the focus on training and professional development. Klabin's proposal is to expand the training programs offered, in line with its commitment to generating value for the entire community," says Luciana Nadai, People & Management manager at Klabin in Paraná.
The new Klabin Training Center has capacity for 250 people, with training rooms for electrical maintenance, mechanics, automation, instrumentation, rooms for theoretical classes, a computer room, and a large auditorium for lectures and in-person training sessions.
