Residents of Angatuba (São Paulo) are offered free clinical exams and orientations on health and well-being
Angatuba, August 12, 2015 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of paper, will hold the 9th edition of the Health and Safety Fair in Angatuba.The fair will offer clinical exams, including: blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, body mass index and eye tests.The Sorocaba Eye Bank will also attend with its mobile office to offer advanced eye exams.
Participants will also receive free haircuts and basic orientations on health, and may watch and participate in medical drills by the Klabin safety team, in partnership with Emergency Medical Services (SAMU) and the Fire Department.
The event, held in partnership with the Military Police, SAMU, the Health Department and companies from the region, is free and will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in Downtown Angatuba.
Klabin will also set up an institutional tent to present its production process and products to the public and, for the third consecutive year, an instructor will teach participants to do slackline, a sport in which participants balance on a flexible nylon cord, generally 30 cm from the ground.
