Santa Catarina, June 2, 2015 – Klabin, Brazil’s largest packaging paper producer and exporter, released its 2015 Forest Stewardship Plan for Santa Catarina on its website. The material presents Klabin efforts for adequate stewardship of its forests and social and environmental actions.
The document describes Klabin’s forest areas in Santa Catarina, with geo-climatic, topographic, geologic and hydrologic data. The content also sheds light on wood forest stewardship, including its different fields and operations, such as research, micro hydrological basins, planning, silviculture, harvesting, logistics and forestry protection.
