INOVA Klabin receives zero waste seal

The INOVA Klabin event, which was held at the Oca do Ibirapuera Pavilion in São Paulo city on September 12 and 13

São Paulo, September 17, 2018 – The INOVA Klabin event, which was held at the Oca do Ibirapuera Pavilion in São Paulo city on September 12 and 13, had its greenhouse gas emissions offset by the acquisition of carbon credits from forest preservation projects certified by the program “Evento Neutro.”

All utensils and materials used for the event’s meals were made of paper or glass. All packaging and scenery materials were separated and sent for recycling, working in partnership with a cooperative of recyclable-material collectors, which accompanied the entire process and weighing of these materials. Moreover, all recyclable materials and waste generated by the event were collected, which will ensure that the event receives the seal of the zero waste program “Sou Resíduo Zero.”
