Santa Catarina, September 6, 2019 – Today (Sept. 6), of Mafra, Santa Catarina is launching its Ethnic Appreciation Festival to commemorate the city’s 102nd anniversary, of which Klabin is a sponsor.  Around 33% of Klabin’s employees at its Rio Negro Unit live in the city.  To participate in the commemoration, which is being held through Sunday, the event organizers are asking the community to contribute by donating one kilogram of non-perishable food.

The festivities include various free attractions, such as concerts by local and national artists, including duo Bruno & Marrone, and the event’s traditional horse riding show.
